The Duke Energy MicroTour application, created in partnership with Index AR Solutions, provides an informative experience to discover the Mt. Holly Microgrid at the Duke Energy Emerging Technology Application and Training Center.

This application offers two modes: on-site and off-site. The on-site mode is exclusive to the Mt. Holly Microgrid facility, while the off-site mode is accessible to all users.

The on-site functionality enables visitors at Mount Holly to interact with the microgrid equipment, featuring:

Augmented reality
Detailed 3D content
Real-time data feeds from sensors on specific equipment
Photo galleries
Detailed equipment descriptions
A progress bar to monitor equipment exploration progress

The off-site functionality allows remote exploration of the microgrid in 3D mode. Key features include:

Video presentations by Subject Matter Experts discussing the microgrid
Live stream from a camera located within the microgrid
